Background Information :

Coaches from Ridgemont Elementary have requested permission to hold instructional sports camps for the students of Obion County. Board approval is necessary for the coaches to receive the estimated salary supplements. The revenues and expenditures will be accounted for through the school’s athletic fund. After paying the expenses associated with the instructional sports camps, the remaining funds will be submitted through Central Office to be included in regular payroll as supplements for holding the instructional sports camps. All purchases, as well as the supplements, will follow Board policy. Board approval is required for the payment of salary supplements.

Staff Recommendation:

As proper procedures have been followed seeking permission to hold the above-noted instructional sports camps and payment of the related supplements, I recommend Board approval.
